Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It is sent back to that website each time you visit, which is how a site can recognise a returning browser. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and tracking pixels — do much the same job by different means, and this policy covers those too.

Cookies are usually described as strictly necessary, where the site cannot function without them, or non-essential, which covers analytics, advertising and personalisation. Under UK law we may set strictly necessary cookies without asking, but we must have your consent before setting any non-essential ones.

This is worth stating plainly, because it is unusual.

This website sets no cookies of its own. It also stores nothing in your browser by any other means — no local storage, no session storage, no tracking pixels. You can browse every page, get a quote and read every policy without a single cookie being created by us.

That is a consequence of how the site is built rather than a promise we are asking you to take on trust: the pages are delivered as ready-made files and carry no code that writes to your browser. You can confirm it yourself in your browser's developer tools, under Storage or Application.

Because we set no cookies, there is nothing here for you to accept or refuse, and you will not see a cookie banner. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and consent will be requested before any non-essential cookie is set.

No analytics is running on this website. The measurement code is present but inactive, because no analytics account is configured, so no Google script is loaded and no analytics cookie can be created.

If we switch analytics on in future, it will start in a denied state — meaning no analytics cookie is set before you have agreed — this policy will be updated to list each cookie and how long it lasts, and you will be asked for your consent first.

Nothing about your visit is being measured today. We do not know which pages you have read.

Some things you can choose to do from this site hand you over to another company, and that company sets its own cookies under its own policy rather than ours:

“Stripe — when you pay”

Payment is taken on Stripe's own secure page, on Stripe's own website. Stripe sets cookies there for fraud prevention and to make the payment work; those are strictly necessary to processing a payment. We never see your card details, and Stripe's cookies are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

“WhatsApp — when you message us”

The WhatsApp buttons are ordinary links. No WhatsApp cookie is set while you are on this site; you only reach WhatsApp, and Meta's own terms, if you choose to follow one.

“Our website host”

Our hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver pages and keep the site secure. This does not require a cookie.

We have no control over cookies set on another company's website, and we cannot switch them off for you. Their own cookie and privacy policies apply once you are there.

Every major browser lets you see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block them in future. Blocking all cookies will break many websites, though it will not break this one.

We will update this policy whenever what the website stores changes — in particular if analytics is switched on, or if a new service is added that sets cookies. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
